I grew up in Dragerton from first grade to 11th grade(1958) after I was forced to move to SLC for my senior year. I lived on Carson St in both C section and E section - My step-dad was Albert Tittle and my mom Veronica (Vonnie) My dad was raised in Columbia with his parents Bill & Myrtle Tittle - I would love to hear from some of my old classmates that I did not see at 50th reunion. It was a great time-seems like we always had something to do and a dance goin' all the time! What a wonderful place to grow up - so sad to see it all disappearing. We need to all show up for East Carbon Days in July of next year.

I am trying to locate a lady who used to live & attended school in Dragerton, Utah by the name of Sally. In the summer of 1968 she spent the summer in San Antonio, Tx. taking care of her sister who was expecting her first baby. Her sister lived in a trailer off of Lackland Air Base. We met at the LDS Lackland chapel and dated until I moved to Washington, DC to work with the FBI. Back then, Sally was 17, had blue eyes, and golden, blonde hair. Regretably, I have forgotten her last name. I need to locate Sally as I have some very important information to share with her. Thank you.

I am looking forward to receiving your three books. I was born in Dragerton, in 1949, and want to learn more about the area. My brother, Rocky, still lives there (East Carbon). Your books will make my next visit even that more interesting while re-exploring the area!

Thanks for your efforts,

I lived in Dragerton from 1946 to 1952. My dad worked in the Horse Canyon coal mine. My 1st grade teacher was Mrs Allred. We lived on B street and later in a house on the highway that was a converted tavern. My family moved to California in 1952. I have very few pictures of my early days, and I do appreciate the ones you have on the website.

John, just wanted to say that I really enjoyed your website. I have some very found memories of my years (43-53) in Dragerton. Your book captures all of the early history of that town so well. I am now in my eightieth years of life and I am so grateful that you were able to help bring back those wonderful days of my life.

Mary
